This picturesque Bed & Breakfast in North Devon was originally the gamekeeper’s cottage on the Stucley estate and is situated down a quiet country lane just a couple of miles outside the ancient market town and fishing port of Bideford.

A paradise for nature lovers, nestled in 30 acres of fields, countryside and woodland with stunning views across the valley down to the River Torridge below.

Lovely woodland walks down to the river from the house where estuary and salt marsh loving birds thrive.

Old Keepers is a charming old cottage with a wealth of character and space for guests to relax both indoors & outside on either the large sun terrace overlooking the river or the more intimate small terrace.

Lucy will cook you a delicious breakfast using fresh, locally sourced products and caters for all sizes of appetite, tastes and dietary needs.

For those of you who have love music we have a Steinway grand piano just waiting to be played.

We also have extensive off road parking and secure storage for bikes

We are perfectly situated for walkers & cyclists as only 10 minutes from the Tarka Cycle Trail and Southwest Coast Path - no minimum night stay in 2 of our rooms.
